I have been with this hosting for 2 months and it was hell they interrogate me every day of the week and then finally right before my billing was up they suspend me. They will scam you and every other future customer so I suggest you do not go with there re-seller.
I cant beleave you would post this when mypchost was only doing what they say in there terms you broke the terms and got caught now you cry and post everywhere like a little baby.....Get a life dude....you brake terms you get suspended.
Haha look guys do you really want a butt hurt re-seller? look at him swear at his previous like that.
BTW there is no need to be rude I am expressing my previous experience and you come in and start swearing and stuff.
My name is Matt Kachurak, owner of MyPCHost.com. I have owned this company since August 2012 and take my hosting business, the security of my servers and customers very seriously. Unfortunately, this customer sees fit to bash a company that is well within the laws of the State of New York and the laws of the United States Government for copyright infringement as well as the DMCA by hosting NULLED scripts. (proof provided by screenshot below) The customer has in fact been with us for 2 months, however during a routine scan for files, it was discovered the customer was hosting nulled files. After the account was suspended, the customer contacted us via live chat which I personally spoke to him through. After several minutes of trying to explain the reasoning behind our actions, the customer became upset and requested a full refund for his services that he paid for ($12.97). The customer, Mr. James Rawls, was informed of the violation of our terms of service and was informed that he agreed to them at the time he signed up for hosting through us. At the time of this writing, our parent host (LiquidWeb) informed us that this site (halotryharddown.tk) was in violation of their terms of service. Further investigation revealed that these accounts were both damaging and illegal. Mr. Rawls was informed that if he could provide photo identification that we would lift the suspension of the site and release the files to him, with the exception of the violated and nulled files which were to be secured for safekeeping and possible evidence. The customer stated that he hosted the domain halotryharddown.tk to a person who he met in a gaming site or forum and he hosted this "random" guy on our server. He also stated that the purchase of his own site, puffhost.com (which also hosts wehostnow.com) was purchased from another "unknown" and "random" guy through his skype. After informing Mr. Rawls that identification was the only way we would release the site, he stated he had no way of getting that information to us. I had asked if he had a scanner, smartphone or digital camera that he could take a picture and forward the information to us, but stated that he did not, even after suggesting that a friend may have one he could borrow. He said that he would not release ANY ifnormation to some "random" company that he came across on the internet, which was baffling to us as he just purchased a site with illegal files from a "random" person and hosted a "random" person, but pays US money to host his sites, yet fails to provide proof of identity to the one of the three people he chose to do business with which is the only legally abiding party. Mr. Rawls then threatened to "tell his friend" that he "better get off our server or he's going to get screwed too!". It was again explained to Mr. Rawls that we WOULD in fact release his files if he would provide proof of identity. I told him that the legal department at LiquidWeb would be happy to explain and answer any questions regarding HIS actions, our actions and the LiquidWeb terms of service as well. Mr. Rawls then continued by threatening to post negatively against our company, which is why I am here, so that Mr. Rawls, if that is his real name. If ANYONE has any questions about our top-notch hosting AND customer service, please feel free to visit us. The comments of this poster are out of anger, frustration and desperation to retrieve illegal files that he was hosting. He has posted on YouTube, DigitalPoint and Alexa and keeps contacting us to threaten to post more negative comments until he receives a refund. I will refund him, for the few days he has left in his hosting agreement with us. I will gladly refund (which also states in our terms of service and on our front page of a 30-day money back guarantee) him the money that he is owed even though it is well beyond the 30 days as he has been with us for 2+ months. Anyone can do the math to see that he is beyond the first 30 days. Mr. Rawls is on a hosting plan of $12.97/mo, which works out to a refund of $1.72. Here's the math: $12.97 divided by 30 days = $0.43/day x 4 days left in his billing = $1.72 refund The problem is that Mr. Rawls threatens to keep posting negative comments until he has a FULL REFUND which he is not entitled to any refund by the terms of service that he HAD to have agreed to by checking a box when he signed up services with us. I welcome any questions and will be happy to answer them. If you are approached by this business or Mr. Rawls, Please use caution and watch your servers for illegally hosted content. Your business is NOT WORTH BEING SHUT DOWN because of ignorance of one customer. Happy Hosting!
You changed your post you called me a f**k head so just because you change your post and act so innocent you think your so smart.
Mypchost is still garbage the servers would be down daily. And he forgot about the other 7 times he contacted me!
And to further extend my investigation, I have been a police officer for 13 years and have investigated simple crimes to the most serious... and every action that this person took against me in our conversation was with intent to deceive and conceal his true identity as well as claiming to not know what a nulled file was. It was explained to him and though we offered to release these files to him, he still maintained his story. Unfortunately no one DOES want to host with a company that violates terms of service as well as the law and the DMCA. I'm sorry Mr. James Rawls, but your attempts to deceive are uncalled for and unwarranted. Please contact us if you have anything constructive to offer or you are ready to show your true identity. Asking for identification, especially in a fraudulent situation, is a company policy and a right to ensure the safety and security of the server. Many hosts require identification when a similar situation arises. Good luck to you, I wish you the best. I'm sorry you were not truthful with us and that you had to threaten us by COMPLYING with the LAW and the terms of service of our parent host. Regards, Matt
As I suspected, the individual LIED about his identity as well, another violation of our terms of service. Here is an email I just received regarding a refund request through paypal. I only provide this to show that this person is throwing their weight around, although they are illegally hosting content that violates the DMCA and laws. His REAL name is "GORD CRONK" apparently the owner of puffhost.com and wehostnow.com - Please be leary of conducting business with this guy. From paypal: Hello Matt Kachurak, Gord Cronk has opened a dispute for the payment made on Jan 13, 2013 indicating that the item they received did not match the original description. Gord Cronk has requested a $1.72 USD refund. ------------------------------ ----- Transaction Details ----------------------------------- Buyer's name: Gord Cronk Buyer's email: Transaction ID: 9E085593V0265264T Transaction date: Jan 13, 2013 Transaction amount: $12.97 USD Your transaction ID: 4L0552867A536581R Case number: PP-002-199-487-828 Refund amount: $1.72 USD THANK YOU GORD CRONK for proving you are exactly as I suspected, A LIAR!!!
Please be advised Mr. Gord Cronk, for your disgusting attempts at extorting us. You committed extortion by threatening negative comments for not releasing puffhost.com and wehostnow.com to you because you violated laws, the DMCA and our terms of service as well as our parent hosts. You will receive your $1.72 refund and we will gladly reply to your lies. In the event you do not know what extortion means, let me save you the hassle: ex·tor·tion The practice of obtaining something, esp. money, through force or threats.
Refund for $1.72 was issued and my request to have negative threats and false postings redacted or removed. I DO have a photo of Mr. Cronk, and would love to post it, but I will stay within my personal ethical guidelines and stop this right here and now. Mr. Cronk, I am asking you to remove all negative postings regarding your extorted efforts. Even paypal has the false information for you: Shipping address James Rawls 3992 Papineau Avenue surrey BC V4P 182 Canada
That's why your money was refunded, the portion that you used was kept as per our terms of service as well as your agreement to them. After 30 days, no refunds are provided. Now we have to follow through with collecting the files that you were hosting illegally and contact the owner of the script as well. @coolman600, if you have any concerns or comments, I'd appreciate you addressing me personally if you wish and I will answer any questions you have. With the information already provided above, I'm sure that this is yet another false profile and an attempt to further aggravate the situation. We are not playing games, you received your money by extortion, please continue on about your life and business dealings. I would definitely not want to host with your company due to the way in which you display yourself in a public forum, admitting fully that you are not the person you claim to be, the company has a poor reputation because of this and its a shame that you won't leave it at that. There is no need to continue this as it serves no legitimate purpose.
