I think it looks simple but nice. Some tiny icons will perhaps elaborate the design a bit more. As for selling... I'm not sure, do you mean selling the template or selling the sponsor links in the template (I saw 'sponsor 1', 'sponsor 2', etc text in the template)? Anyway, if you mean selling the sponsor links, I think it can be done in the 'Marketplace' forum.
Looks good, especially if you're just starting. I'd personally recommend learning how to code them, since you can make much more that way. Once you get the coding down, theme creation (at least for me) is a one phase process of designing and coding at the same time. Seems to work well for me and makes me a high hourly wage.
The footer on the bottom is a bit too long, I would shorten it by 25% atleast. For the header, I like the simplicity of it
I'm going to start my job about design template for wordpress and I thinks your tenplate is simple but nice, I think you should add some art to header
Design is clean which is nice. Only thing, as other previously stated, the footer is a little to long. Except from that detail, it's good to go in my opinion. If this was your first template I'm impressed
I really like your design, However, I think you could use a more eye pleasing color than Orange. Except for halloween of course

I just checked out the mambo logo and they are pretty similar but I assure everyone I hadn't seen that logo until after the design was completed!
