Hey guys. Just take a quick review on my site new site www.gamereflect.com

I am getting around 50 unique visitors per day and site started operating last week!

I'm getting indexed heaps quickly and pagerank looks nice even though haven't found official one yet! Most traffic comes through twitter and digg.com. Also have gotten quite a lot of hits through google.com

Tell me what you think and how I can improve it!

I like the image of , (you) i assume. Nice and original. You need some more going on, atm it looks very empty (catergories). Blend the colours of the ads into your content. Just keep on working hard and people will return and start contributing comments.

Great job! Very difficult to find problems with the design.
One thing I've noticed. "Popular posts" label in the header is difficult to read and looks out of theme. You don't use that font anywhere else on the site.

The way you have placed the ads, I'd probably not placed them at all. You will get very low click through. So what is the point to make the site ugly for nothing.

I'd say nowhere. Focus on getting feed subscribers and followers. That will involve some shift in priorities in the content placement. Subscribe to RSS and Follow should be big, flashy and prominently placed.

But if you what to show ads I'd started with 728x90 unit right below the header. But the best way is to test (if you've got enough traffic), to find what works the best. Sometimes test results are really surprising.

If the ads you have right now are paying for operating expenses, keep em. There is no question in that. But if they only cover lets say 10% of your expenses, then drop them, and use all real estate you have go grow you traffic 10 times. When place the ads again.

Well with what I got now, I have enough money for another 2 months webhosting. So maybe I take away ads for 2 months? But taking them away, what does that do? What bonus do I get out of it:p

    Sorry for all the questions!

Ads that work take attention from your content. Ads take place on the page. If that space could be used for growing web site I would choose growth.

But if it is any chance that the ads will pay your hosting bill in two months keep em. Just try to experiment and see if you can find unit type and placement that works best for your site.

Good looking website. Not a lot to change, perhaps the grey column on the right to a different colour but that's about it.

Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. And also after getting recommendations to changing ad positions etc. What I did was just remove one of the ads which were next together and since then I've already got 3 clicks!
