for an auto insurance site, it sure doesn't look very much like it's related to anything automotive or anything insurance

 

Adding some stock photos related to your website would be a good addition.

A few thoughts on your site.

I like the blues, very easy on the eyes.
Lots of white space that is is a good thing. Helps in reading the pages.
The logo needs some work I think. It just does not seem quite right. Sorry no great suggestions on how to improve the logo, just a feeling that it needs something more.
You might want to run the pages through the W3C HTML Validator to check for errors in the code etc. (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//www.dontoverspend.com/)

Overall nice site, and good/interesting information.

Put some mouse over effects for the navigation menu. Do you have an affiliate service going? And put adsense ads as well.

 

I have adsense running on some other sites and I'm afraid it would detract from my affiliate links within the site... I think the mouse effects would be a nice touch... Thanks for the suggestion!
