    I'm not 'feeling' the placeholders, for me it just ruins the subtle details of the site ( lines, colors, shades ).Anyway, this is clean.I like it.

    Agree with Stan. The ability to support any resolution screen would be a good idea but with such non-attractive template, nobody will use it.

    Like the others have said, it could do with a little more sprucing up. However, unlike the others have, I'll give you some real feedback that you can actually use to improve:

    The colours you've used aren't that great. It seems pretty monotone and could do with better contrast in certain areas.

    For instance, you've used the same grey on the background as you've used on the main container. Darken the background and it'll come across instantly better.

    Next up are the social icons. The inner shadow that you've got on them is not effective. It's the wrong colour and could should be a dark blue as opposed to the grey you're using. Furthermore, they spread to two lines when using an iphone resolution (see this: http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/2206/f0a3e58692dd4ae084273e6.png).

    Finally, go bold with the headers of articles. They'll stand out more.

    You have much work to do.

    You can start by adding a favicon and changing the logo. The footer needs some changes too.
