I agree, very dark. Bit depressing. For the rest, looks fine, sharp. Maybe an idea to put an explanation of the goals of the community, history, etc. Give a visitor some background information. Mike
It's looking good, but try to make something that will seperate you from DP. The forum almost has the same categories as DP.
Dark looks cool don't you think? Theme is good looking, plus it has color changer so one can set ones appropriate color. Well all sub boards are well categorized.Yes some categories are similar, but what makes it stand out that its a feature rich, good looking forum with sensible grouping
Fabulous look - black is good! ... but your header doesn't have a smooth transition with the gradient change (faint vertical line). Also on header, a bit too much "white space" - to the right of your name, you could place a short line description of what it's all about.

Site doesn't look bad. However... the logo should be re-designed. I can hardly read it. Try something simple, cleaner and more professional.
The website looks good, just make sure you let people know what kind of a website it is on the first page, because it is not very clear... Otherwise very nice work!
