Review My New Look

My site used to look exactly like this. I copied all the html/css from this site to make my new one, but I didn't like it.

This will be my new look for both websites except I'm going to keep the advertisements a little different on each one.

That background color is really looks like I'm visiting a site from 90s. Also your site needs some graphics, it is almost pure text and looks kinda dull. Good luck.

 

So you think I should focus on more of a simple template like this? More pictures is the answer to complement the website?

 

I am not saying put pictures everywhere but a site needs at least couple of buttons, icons, a good looking logo for an aesthetic page. For example your site doesn't have a logo, at least you can try putting a small logo at header. That avatar at right made your site a little livelier imho. And also you can put some images in your entries. For example you can add a small logo or a picture for Starcraft 2 entry to make it look more interesting.

 

Thanks, I updated it one more time. I'm going to stick with this for a while. I think it looks better than before at least. Thanks for your input.
