This is my image hosting site. I am running it on the mihalism script. I ended the css and did some other modifications. Check it out and use it regularly if you'd like. Here's the site: http://daily-drop.com
The full screen ad is something I would get rid of. Will scare away too many people, right off the bat. My advice would be to introduce advertising slowly - as you build a base of users.
Its a nice and very short site. Add some more images on that. And also your site is loading little bit slow.
Looks easy enough to work. Very user friendly. Honestly, design is important but user friendliness is even more important.
Thanks for all the feedback. I was considering messing a little bit more with the css. I'm not quite familiar with css yet but I am learning. I figured I would get that ad out of there. Adbrite seems to be screwing me over anyway. Some days the fullpage ad area (it's actually the only thing I use adbrite for) will say 900 views then the next day it will be at 700. Honestly they've done this to me at least twice. I didn't really realize how annoying it actually is until now, however, I don't feel like they even bother me when I'm on other sites. I took it off anyway. I got the sms link working but I am currently working on that script. The server seems pretty good right now. I just switched to lunarpages I hope they don't suck! Anyway, thanks for the reviews I will put them to use.
I really like this site. It is very simple and user friendly. It has adds obviously because it is free. It's not that eye catching with dull colours but in my opinion very well done. Could position your ads a little bit better in my opinion but apart from that good job so far! I would love to know how much revenue you're bringing in.
Looks like you removed the full screen ads. It's better now and I didn't feel its slow as told by some people. Good Luck. :: ads2help
Thanks for all the responses. I noticed quite a few people are saying they felt like it was slow. To be honest I've uploaded tons of images and have navigated throughout the site many times. I never really feel that it's slow. I'm using a 10mb download connection though too.
