The placement of everything on the site is really good. The only thing is the colors. I do not like the pinkish color in the header and footer.
The overall layout and design of the site is great, I cannot find anything wrong with it, good luck with the site.
In my opinion, kind of a daring color scheme to use. I'm not too much in favor of it but it may work well for others
I think everything on the site is good, but it seems more like a wordpress theme. You designed it by yourself?
I am running at 1920 x 1280 and the width was fine, a little stretched but not so bad. In my opinion the colors are fine. They are suttle and not to bright like you see so many new people do.... Ya know? The bright yellow and green colors?

I like where the ads are and the set-up of the page. When I opened the page the first thing that stood out was the header. It was a little sharp on the eyes, but then again I'm in a dark room. I also might suggest making the text on the right side just a little bit darker, although I like that it's gray instead of black.
try hard to make your site better with layout mate, may be it is simple .. anyway its good job of you mate !
