Review my NEW Forex site please :)

I just got my new Forex site up. Pretty proud of this one, since I am no website whizz

It has some bugs and a few things wrong with it I know, but what do you think?

You may want to check your speed.

I ran a check @ http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/

and the download time is over 33 secs for 56k users (which are still more than you think)

a total of more than 160k could be done better IMHO

Other than that...looks good

 

How would i improve that?

Honestly I'm not too big of a fan of your overall design.
Here are a couple of my comments:
The header at the top of the page does not really fit the services you are looking to provide. I would expect something leaning more towards Forex or education / learning. The guy you have there just does not make any sense to me.
Why is the tell a friend link the first item (after home) in your menu, I would expect a link to more information about the services you are looking to provide. Why would I want to tell a friend before I know what to tell them?
The first site of content on you page is 50% of the way down (below the fold). If you make the header smaller you can push your content up farther and still have room for ads etc..
You might want to promote your newsletter on your main page. On one of the sites Irun this is a prominent feature and have amassed almost 3000 suscribers which gives a a great targeted audiance.

You mean the square picture on the main page reight beside the introduction text? Should it be something more related to forex?

 

Nice site, bookmarked it. I think you can do better for the design...

I think your banner is of really poor quality, I agree that you should find an image to more what your site is about. Get some one to make you a quality banner.

I'm still not a fan of the page header - it just does not seem to fit with what your site is selling.

 

I am making a new one as we speak...SHould be MUCH better

the header looks complicated.and its not pretty for me..you will change or improve it or may be remove it

 

The site looks clean and straight forward. I am not a big fan of scrolling banners but in this case it's not too obtrusive. The loading was fast I did not have any issues. Navigation was also without a problem.

I think anyone wanting to learn about Foreign Currency trading would take the time to poke around your site and not have any navigation issues.
