    Hi guys,

I've recently redesigned my graphic design portfolio to a more business-like, user-friendly interface.

Please let me know what you think, and whether or not the site would encourage you or discourage you to contact me for my design services based on the professionalism/feel of the site.

    Thanks!

Not bad. Here are some ideas:
    1. Replace the text "My name is Andrew Hwang, and I’m a graphic designer specializing in branding and corporate identity. In other words, I create stunning logos." with a pic or something more interesting. This does a good job in telling people what you do, but you need to make it faster. Check out what these guys did for inspiraiton: http://www.seomoz.org/. It says "SEO Software simplified" 3 words. This is what you need. It tells the user in 2 seconds what you do.

Consider something like : "Graphic Design Branding" or "Creating Corporate Identities through effective branding" or even "Logo Creations" or "Stunning Logo Creations". Keep is simple and fast. And make sure that customers can quickly see examples / portfolio (you currently do this...). This is what they will care about.
-On the portfolio site, make everying smaller and easier to read. Right now I have to scroll a bunch just to go through portfolios. Check out this site which does web desing

-Get the "About" including you pic. off the home page. Put this somewhere else. People will go to this info if they want it. Don't use up valuable space on your homepage.

-I like the "what customers are saying" this is good.
-Get rid of "what I am blogging about" and "what I am tweeting about". Not on homepage. Put in a second layer page.
-Put the "get started" button at the top of the page. This is you call to action. You NEED it to show up when someone comes to your site. It's way too low right now.

You got a great site. I'm just trying to make it better. I hope this helps.

    Good Luck!
