Review my New Deal Site

I just redesigned my Deal site - Deals, Coupons, Freebies.

Let me know what you think. I am open to all suggestions. What needs to be added, what needs to go away? What can I do better, what I am doing that is good? What can I do to add content? How can I monetize more/better? Anything.

    Thanks in advance.

Took a quick look and just fine. Maybe you could think of something to make it interesting and something that will encourage everyone to check out the freebies. :)

    Hello Blog Salesman.

I had a chance to review your website.

    MY THOUGHTS

    Logo & Header
I think the crowd you are after would determine the credibility of a site like yours by face value. Therefore, I'd recommend that you have your Logo & Header redesigned. At present, it is very simplistic... and almost that Web 2.0 feel that you are going after... but it can still use more work..

    Navigation
I think the design of your main navigation could use some more work. It too... needs the Web 2.0 flare... I would also go with a similar font like your content... further to this... instead of a dynamic menu... how about a flat menu... like a category for this on the left column. (actually... I notice you have this already... why not just add the rest to this column.. and remove the one menu item from the main navigation menu)

I also think that it would be best if you had the deal links pop open in a new window rather than taking over your window.

    Conclusion
Over all its a great site! Good place to search for deals, coupons and freebies!

This review was done with FireFox 2.0.0.7 on PClinuxOS 2007.

    Hope this helps.
    Respectfully.

Doesn't look bad, but I agree that it could use some flare, pictures or something. Having a deal/discount site is very competitive. You will need something to differentiate yourself from the others.

I agree with zigster's comments. I like that the site is clean and easy to read, but it needs something to add a bit of punch to the graphics. It has a certain amature feel to it.

It's a very competitive and broad market, I think you'd be more successful if you specialized in one particular niche.

I added a better search at the top, and added in a little blurp on the left.

If you could let me know what to do with the left sidebar. Make the background green, or what? It looks too plain, and I think it should stand out more.

I am currently working on categories and graphics, along with moving the freebies to a new domain.
