Review my new custom wordpress theme

Have a look: I updated my blog's theme
Its my first theme on wordpress. http://geoland.org

I started playing around with the cutline theme http://cutline.tubetorial.com/ and I ended up changing it completelly ...

I am thinking if people like it I might release it as a free template on the wordpress.org site ... that is why I need your opinions / likes / dislikes / bug reports ...

Very nice design. You may want to promote the RSS feed more, maybe add the Addthis.com subscribe button next to the bookmark one

ab555, I was thinking about it but currently I don't have the time to go with the process of bundling it and uploading and it also needs some clean up ... in the near future probably yes ...

 

I like the design, but the site had considerable load time (browsing from Germany, with no problem at other sites).

I tried to post a comment and got this error:

Error: Please press the back button and fill the required field for spam protection.

I didn't see any spam protection fields. You may need to add the code in your comments form or disable the plugin.

Very nice design - the only thing I'm not 100% sure about is how much of your width is taken up with the two columns given to Recent Posts, Partners, Comments etc

I'd maybe consider putting more emphasis on the main content column and allowing the list to go further down the right hand side with the extra stuff

Other than that though it's great

Comments are now OK if any one wants to comment ...

 

I think the theme is very nice. I have always liked clean lines and your text colors and background go very well together. The site also loaded fast and was not an issue. Regards.

I have actually gotten rid of some of the widgets and only have 2 posts on the front page ... as some people suggested ... and that is why it loads much faster now ...
