This is my first blog I've ever done, I'm use to turnkey sites and scripts. I've got a little content so far on this blog, and adding to it as much as possible.

Please be honest, I'm using a classic skin on it currently. thanks :)

change the adsense ad display to insert to the blog,
you can get more ad clicks. :D
for example, change the background color to white.

The contents of the website is good. However, you need to add color to the background of your webpage, instead of leaving it blank. It will then give a vibrant feeling.

I've added a light background to the blog to jazz it up a bit. But now I'm trying to find the best bg color for the adsense ads to go with it. I might try a light grey. Also I'm going to adjust the headlines for links on the sidebar, because they're hard to see now, going to try bold black.

    reps left :)

I would move the right menu below the header area so it looks like it's part of the layout.. instead of just an area that's sticking out.

The line spacing seems to be a little off.

    Safari here.

It looks like there is plenty of content, but you might want to put some of your ads in between the articles, and make them the same color as the background... might get some extra clicks... just an idea...

and Firefox too. I'm not quite sure what it is, but your first post's spacing seems a little off.

In terms of reading, it's pretty well written regardless of whether you use recycled content or not.

Using Wordpress' default theme isn't so appealing to me either, even though it looks like your content truly is king.

Your font could be improved too, I'm finding it quite hard to read.. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think it's your background that's giving it a bad vibe.

A good start though. You can easily download new themes from Wordpress' theme site, and I think after that you're all set.
