This is a website featuring free music contracts and advice as well as interviews with industry professionals. It is very basic and will develop it as I get time.

Seems quite nice site, but why black background? Is it underground music site? I'm not sure, but I this it could be better to do more specified site for particular music genre, not general. But this is only my opinion. Good luck.

I actually got a script error going in: "Line 4, Error 'undefined' is null or not an object". Interestingly I think it was generated by the Adsense code.

I have to say I think at the moment it looks a bit 'cheap', although I accept that you say you'll improve it later. My biggest gripe is the title: 'The Music Connect' doesn't actually make sense, unlike say 'The Music Connection', or drop the definite article and just have 'Music Connect'.

However there is some useful info there. A bit better presentation and I might use it myself!

I quite liked the look of the site in general and
    did't get any errors.

    Page's loaded quickly.

The information looked really useful and I could see
this being of interest to people interested in the
    music industry.

The smaller red font seemed a little blurred on the
black background although it improved with the
    mouse over effect.

i like the site, but i dont like the centered text for the articles. you can also try bolding a few keywords within your text for a better seo result.

Great! Im impressed by the content. If theres one thing I would say you should choose a font for the top menu that is spaced out more, for readability. The space between letters is too close.

we are going to change up the whole design and put a white background and try to make it user friendly. We are also thinking about going with a few add-ons such as a myspace or purevolume has where artists can make their own pages. Thought we need more then just a design to make it a great website.

Yeah did not care too much about design because it is just a template I got for free just wanted to get the stuff up and see what people thought of the content since we put no money into it yet. We did this while we could brainstorm some ideas and ask for some ideas and really get it so it has the possibility of being big not just another music industry website. We were thinking about a purevolume, soundclick, myspace music, type of website but I think that market may be tapped out and oversaturated.

This is a rough draft for what I was thinking of turning it into was wanting some feedback or ideas about it

Home - Have a featured artist on the front with industry profesional interview picture, basicly keep it so that it shows a preview of each section and if we have an event or something big going on that it would show advertisement for that.

Resources - Have what I do on the website now with one interview of a music industry profesional and then have the free articles and contracts for download.

Profiles - Will be a myspace type profile with photo, 3 tracks max, biography area, and a comment area, and maybe another feature that would be unique.

Links - Have a directory type system with categories pertaining to the music industry for artists, dj's, managers, and more to list their websites.

Contact - Just a simple PHP form

With this company I am planning to build up the website and have a talent type showcase yearly in a major city or something such as that so we are not just a website. But we will be focused mainly online.
