Hi DPs, I just launched my movie/tv site and would appreciate if the experts here can review it's SEO, layout and color for me! If you have suggestion on how to improve it further, do let me know too! Site: www.myflickguide.com Thanks!
hi-site looks real good. loaded with no problems for me. nice and clean layout. nice to have the search box on the top right as well, that can come in handy for your visitors. good job. thanks
Freespeech: Thanks for taking the time to review the site!! Should I add more stuff on the right side bar? it looks alittle empty
I think the site looks really professional with good graphics. However here in the UK it is taking nearly 20 seconds to load on a typical (up to) 8M broadband connection, which may mean you are going to lose customers.
Loaded okay for me. The layout is good . . .things are easy to find. The only thing I would improve on is the logo. The white border around the logo devalues it. Try to have a logo designed that doesn't use a picture also. My 2 cents. Skinny
Thanks all! Glad that the loading speed has improved! Hmm, i'll try to redesign the logo again.. Happy Easter to all btw!
Thanks!!! You all roxs! Thanks for your time and effort! Should I add in more movies post or tv series?
It does look nice but you need to add much more to the left. Not to the right. Your navs are at the bottom right and people simply will not find them. It Loaded quickly on my end and I don't have a problem with the logo. I think it looks fine. Pull it to the far left. Make that banner smaller (less wide) to match the right side table where your movie pictures are. Seperate the top naviagtion from the pictures with more than just a gray line. Again, move the right nav to the top left of that page (people expect this). For SEO purposes, you have 377 coding errors on this page. See: (http //validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.myflickguide.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 and clean this up. Search engines migh find this hard to crawl. Not sure it your titles and or metas are what you are looking for but for SEO purposes you have very very little actual content. Do view source to see what I am talking about. That will not help.
