Review my London 2012 Website

This Site will be taken down soon, Olympic and other words are trademarks of the Olympics and, I have had multiple sites yanked.

 

there's just something about your website that i don't like and i can't honestly figure out what that is. i mean, the logo image and text look poor quality (too sharp and too small), the color palette of the website is sterile and should include at least 2 colors, the slideshow graphics are very basic.

 

It's a really good first attempt but not too sure about the font you have used in the header. Other than that looks good except it's running a bit slow.

 

We once thought to build a niche site about London 2012.
The seo effect may only exist for a year stop us from building a site like yours.
Your site looks good to me. Pretty decent and I like simple skin.

 

Agreed, it is a shame that such websites are taken down simply for using olympics in the Domain Name and often provide useful information
Equally will be the two mascot images, and lack of permission to use these images and artwork

Personally I would refine the google AdWords to be relative to the website content
At the moment they seem to be more generic and related to software and computing

 

It looks more like a blog to me. Don't get me wrong it's a good looking site, but I think you can make it even better. You have a good content, put a more user appealing shell around it. Try http://www.freecsstemplates.org/css-templates to get more ideas on layouts/designs.

 

You have got yourself a darn good domain name buddy. Though site's loading a little slow, so may be you can look into that. Also I found design very basic, it's like default wordpress installation. Hope that helps.

 

It seems that "olympics" are not allowed, sorry for you.... Great premium domain, lots of organic traffic...The site is looking ok, more photoshop maybe on the header. All the best

 

It's a good first attempt but I think you might run into legal problems soon because the olympics are all registered trademarks and the like

 

Its great website also can give you great business.
