i think you sould use a different font, color looks good.
Why use different font? caz its look plain text, if you use diffferent font then it will look much better then now. nyways good luck

i try to make thos and i get stuck on how to make the thing like like wave..

 

Its too simple. You need to add a background and some color patterns into the words.. Just mix everything up.. Test some things out..

The shine looks perfect, just could try alternating with a few different fonts..

Do you have the website ready as that could also determine the font selection..

I like it but would like to see an image of something along with the text eg a funky image of a book etc.

I think it's a pretty decent logo, simple and easy to remember which is a good thing. I like the simplicity but it looks quite similar to other logos, I would suggest picking a different font and doing some variations to make your logo abit more unique. Overall a decent logo.

 

This look plain and simple. Just a suggestion is that if you can design a graphical logo using R & U with the words readup beneath the logo or across the logo will be more impressive and striking. Logo are meant to allow visitors to remember your site as a way of branding. Just like McDonald or Apple logo. For long term benefit, you can design a nice logo for branding.

its not bad, but i think text alone can be a little boring, you need some sort of ultra cool graphic, or something simple and effective. It will give your logo the extra Zing it needs. I dont think it needs the shadow behind it. And making it vector would definitely make it better.. Its a great start though, good luck with your site

 

On the 'U' when the white meets the red it takes something out of the border. Try and fix it.

The logo is good but i think i'd like the letters closer to each other.

 

Not to bad, but I would look for a new font there are tons of free font sites out there to make it more eye catching.

 

It looks good the design, simple & nice. I would make the top part of the words a bit lighter, closer to the white color.

 

I agree with everyone else here. Its looks simple but pretty fine. Try using different font or for even better use customized font to make your logo unique.
