The background image is very chaotic and distracting. I think it takes away from your content and your call to action. hanji
I totally agree. Without that awful background, it's actually kinda elegant and nice - as far as landing pages go ... @ hanji : Long time no see
tkx for the comments guys, I didnt removed the background, but I did alpha it down, so what do you think now
Yea, i was about to say the same thing about the aligment. I dont know how it looks in smaller monitors but mine have 22" and i see the page kind off aligned to the left, does not look good. Try to centralize it
It looks centered to me. If you can't get it to look centered on everyone's computers, maybe push it further to left for a more artsy look. Move it far enough that it seems like you are doing it intentionally. You could fill the void that is created on the right side with images of happy people eating chocolate / happy couples etc. Seriously though it looks fine the way it is on my computer.
The content is not centered on my Widescreen laptop but OK on my PC CRT. You might want to change the punctuation in the intro to a period: Check the formatting and I am not sure if take is the best word in the link and text here: Check spelling here: The picture at the top is great and eye catching. Backgrounds looks good, my 4 yr old son loved the look and wanted chocolate(thanks for that before he went to bed...) not sure if this might be a plus, but when I scrolled down the page I thought it might help to have a floating window follow down the page, linking to shopping cart, contact, FAQ, ans such. with a similar but smaller pic as the top of it. I hope my landing pages look as good. Did you do it yourself? What did you use?
Thanks for the pontuation and gramar errors I will fix it sortly... yes I done it myself using just HTML and CSS as per platform I use Photoshop for graphics and Dreamweaver for the code (html and CSS). And thanks for the compliment when you said. "my 4yr old son loved the look and wanted chocolate". and thank you all who participated in this thread
No problem, I will be looking for help here soon enough and this helps me know more about what my site should be like.
the background even though it is related to your topic is quite distracting. a simpler one would serve you better. otherwise a great landing page.
I agree. Your background image does not serve the purpose for your site. Consider using a simple background that does not compete what is being focused in your site.
