Hello. I asked for a review several months back for my imagehosting page that ive done quite some changes to now and would like a new reviews on the layout etc and some suggestions on what you miss on the page and i could add to bring more people site: http://imagefrog.net +rep will be given to anyone who writes a good and honest review, same thing for people that would be kind to point out bad things and things i could improve.
The design looks simple and clean, which is a good thing. Some suggestions would be to make the title of the site stand out more and to make the links in the top navigation bar stand out more as well. Also, you could add an image gallery of hosted images on your site, possibly where the ad is on the right hand side.
Hello, First impression is 'mmmm looks quite nice'. I like the colors and the top banner look pretty cool IMO. I don't like the ad on the main page. I think it takes up to much room. I would move it to the top under your banner and navbar like what is on your other pages, or find somewhere else for it. The little bit under this ad seems out of place. Does something show up there after you have uploaded the image? If not, the uploading rules could be moved under the uploading module. Your news pages seems a tad unprofessional, It was hard to read. Try inceasing the font size. 'Free Image Hosting for forums, blogs, ebay, craigslist, etc' - I don't like etc. Etc could be many things to many people and it's better to be clear upfront. I would hold of on the forums until you have some users. This can create a bad impression because it looks like you have no users, (which may be true, but you don't want people to know that!) Ditto with the galleries. Remove the entire page until a bit later, or fill it up and remove any catagories that have 0. Tag cloud. I have seems some really cool looking Tag Clouds out there. I think you could work a little more on this. Upload module. I like a single box then an option to 'Upload Another' i think this looks cleaner. But really it not too bad. Well Website Owner The website is Really and Nice and Simple. It's good that you did not fill the front page with all Others do such as Options and stuff. The Colors of the Website Banner, is not that cool, you can think also about Black, Red, White But Over all it's great and by the way i will start using it
Disagree. Those colors are in fashion now. One thing a didn't mention before is the ads. I personally leave a site if I see a bounching, 'You are the one zillionith veiwer' etc, especially if the ad has nothing to do with the content. Which most of your ads fall under. Try to use ads that people who are hosting images on your site would be interested. Untargeted ads are counterproductive, they p**s off anyone who wants to use your service, thus decreasing return traffic and also don't covert.
