Site: http://www.TextAdMarket.com I've recently re-done my site's homepage. I'd like to get some feedback on a few things: 1. What do your eyes snap to first? Second? 2. Like or dislike the 2 large boxes in the middle? (gray/green) 3. Anything you particularly like about the homepage? 4. Anything you think looks unprofessional? 5. Anything you personally don't like? (i.e. green isn't your favorite color) 6. Other thoughts? How's the weather where you are?
it looks professional as long as you dont look at the offered ad-spaces. there´s not much going on atm but afar from that, get that thing going
You mean this page? http://www.textadmarket.com/samples.php Ya, that looks like cr@P. I've added it to my to-do list for tonight. Getting it going is tough! I'm growing my publisher base, but it's hard to get the word out.
1. What do your eyes snap to first? Second? the boxes then the banner 2. Like or dislike the 2 large boxes in the middle? (gray/green) like, they define the site 3. Anything you particularly like about the homepage? simple layout is easy on the eyes 4. Anything you think looks unprofessional? no 5. Anything you personally don't like? (i.e. green isn't your favorite color) no 6. Other thoughts? How's the weather where you are? i'm gonne register, i'll let you know
I'd rate it 3 stars as... I'm not too keen on the form buttons. Too plain. Go for a slick theme which is constant throughout - both on the main site and blog. Actually, the blog colour scheme is nice because it's different from TLA. When I look at your home page I'm reminded of TLA a bit.
I've noticed I have the same gray/green color scheme as Commission Junction. I hope my homepage doesn't remind you of TLA! They have a god-awful site design. ryan_uk, I agree I could use some spiffier form buttons. Have a design in particular you were thinking of?
it looks good colors are good dont warry about that what your main focus should be is for the site to be user friendly and from what i see its simple and easy to use. everything is at your fingertips that what i like i would give it a 8 out of 10 (there is always room for improvement)
First thing my eyes snapped to was actually the text between the boxes and the banner, but I've been reading a lot. After that, definately the boxes. The two boxes arn't bad. I like how they're set up the same but have different purposes. I like the black and green color scheme. Maybe the gray/black boxes on the left could be just a little darker, but I won't be that picky. Also, on the left under where you log in you have a sample ad. I think you could draw more attention to that as being from you, not an ad from something else on your site. Professionalism is fine. As for other comments, the weather here is hot, humid, and bug-filled. I like the site. One thing I just noticed - the two sample ads on the bottom look exactly the same. I don't know if you're trying to show a two-part ad or something, but I'd do something with that.
Its looking good, but the tag line "Supply and Demand Advertizing" is not visible clear, you can make it more visible. and you can make a bit gap in vertically for bulleted point in publishers and advertisers. other than its looking professional
