The theme is pretty OK in my opinion but you have way too many ads on the homepage and none on the content page, which is feed generated from what I saw. Either way, if you are to get search engine traffic, you will get it on independent pages and not your homepage, so there's where you should focus more. Not to mention the fact that your homepage is the landing point of your regular users and that should be as ad-free as possible.

I think the header is a bit big? Make it skinnier, so you get to content quicker. Other than that it looks good and quite interesting. I have eczema so it is pretty relevant to me.
Thanks for asking.... I would think that the header is a bit too striking. you might want to user lighter color... You might also want to add in some interactive features such as poll or chatbox to make it more interesting... You might also like to have some introduction or about me page so that reader will have some ideas what this website is about. Hope it helps. Cheers! Patrick
