It is my photography/graphics blog. Brand new.

I aimed for simplicity and focus on the pictures, not the layout. Did I succeed?

Great idea focusing on the pictures, but atleast you should add a border on the pic so it looks nice and organized. Also consider putting a button up there which would direct the person to a random picture on your site.

A little review here, please.

 

Nice looking site. Doesn't scale to my viewing size. Recommend toning down the white on the comment box, almost too much contrast. Also, maybe add some text about some of your pictures.

 

Good idea on the comment box, but what do you mean about adding some text? Like a description?

 

Clean look like you said. Would be curious about the photo properties and the camera/lens specs, etc

Pretty cool blog. You have placed each design to give a nice little feel for the blog.
I would suggest if you can change the Title Font or maybe a good logo.

Thank you, Nuke. I am going to get a logo instead of text now - I see your point in the header font.

 

I like it, very nice and clean. It would be easier to navigate through the pages if the images were a little smaller, so they don't take up too much of the screen. Then the user can click on the image to enlarge it like this http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/lightbox2/index.htm
(^ which is a pretty popular image effect right now)

And maybe buttons for the forward and previous links so they are easier to spot.

Very nice though.

I am going to make buttons now, as well as implement a thumbnail system for the images. Thank you for your comments.

- Redoing database now, if you get an error check back in an hour. -

 

Changelog:
Made images resize into 640px max width thumbnails.
Installed lightbox, click the image and it will work.
Reuploaded and changed images.
Edited archives.
