Ya i love the theme I came across it by accident. I am considering changing the colors of the theme to match Gran Turismo color schemes, which is red, blue, black, white.
I was just going to change the green parts to red or blue, nothing flashy or major. The game doesnt come our for more than a year, so I have lots of time lol.
Not bad, but I expected to see more of a racing theme. Red would have been a better color choice for some of your fonts. At first I thought I was on a business web site instead of one devoted to a game.
You should definetly color your website.. Red would be nice and i think you should think use carbon texture on your button too..
It looks great but I'd say go ahead and customize it to make it stand out and fit in better with GT. Personally, I prefer helvetica/arial over verdana any day for blogs. Verdana is hard to read at 12px, and seems to be made for 11px. Never give up on it either! You'll have lots of competition but writing well, often, and for a long time you can do it
Hey guys thanks for the great response! It helps me when I have a bunch of random people review my website so that I can get many angles and opinions. Based on your posts I plan on doing the following soon: 1.) Change color scheme - all green elements are going to be converted to gran turismo red or blue (also try some carbon fiber textures, as someone mentioned) 2.) Create a better logo, implementing some cars from GT5, but nothing too flashy or dramatic. 3.) Font - I never even thought twice about the font, but I think I will play around with it to find a better looking font. 4.) Add images of cars or something in the sidebar, and then link to an article or something under it. Just to create a visual point so that readers will want to click and go to another page on my website instead of leaving after only seeing the front page. 5.) And of course, stay on top of news and events so that I am the most updated site. Like vbSeed said, I will have lots of competition but I started earlier in the game than everyone else, so hopefully I will have the advantage.
