Hey everyone, I have had my forum up since December 2010 now and it's still going slow. It kinda picked up last month but its slowed down again. Please give me any suggestions you have and lmk what you think of it. I have a few things to try to get users to post, like if they refer 4 people Ill send them a free sleeve of golf balls. I also have monthly giveaways and the only requirement is to make 10 posts for that month. Any suggestions to try to get users to post are appreciated.

Consider getting better meta tags "Stl Golf Forum" is kinda turn off (SEO wise)
Get a golf ball favicon, you can find on iconspedia.com
The forum color is really annoying so i left the site.
    Thats my inputs

That happens only if i scroll till the bottom, the color hurt my eyes so much that i was "flashed" for almost 5 secs, i aint going all the way down! (no offense but you really need to find an eye friendly color)

The Darker green still causes pain in my eyes. (but acceptable for me to stay 5-10 secs on the site)
Consider keeping green black as default.

I would certainly work on the theme and color scheme, hurts the eyes after a while.

The log also needs some work doing on it.

Ok I updated the forum homepage so it's not hosted at blogspot. It's wordpress and its under construction still. The main problem i am having is with the logo, i cant make it any larger without it pushing the nav buttons down

Nice one and fast loading but I think you need a welcome spiel on that front page, briefly describing what the site is about and why you made it

Hi i have not read the other comments , but for me the site could do with looking like a golf forum, or blog, at the moment without spending time just from the first look, and thats where you keep the visitor or NOT, it could be any site. have you not been thinking you should put some golf photos on the site, there is plenty in the public domain.
just me thinking could do with some images to look intersting-
