Hey guys, I just started my new gaming forum up about 4 or 5 days ago, and we're doing great so far, about a 3/4ths customized gaming style for vBulletin, we have about 30 members and 700+ posts so far and its the Christmas/holiday time, The forum link is here (You dont have to register) I'm looking for ways to promote it even more so I can get some sign ups and more members, any good ideas?? I made a post about promoting a new forum here, might help you. Starting a forum is one of the hardest websites to make successful. You need to be able to post to make it look busy so you need to know the subject. Think of things that you would search for in google which are popular in your niche and try to have those articles/posts on your site. You want as much natural traffic coming from google as possible so you want to be high in the SERPs so you'll need as many backlinks as possible. That means putting your url in your signature of places like Digital Point, other forums, start posting on blogs which are do=follow, start social bookmarking, etc. and generally brushing up on your link building skills.
