Review my games site design, please.

Hi, it's not live yet but could some of you please give a review of my games site, its at http://www.ownage.us/new/.

The only thing I will say is I know the header image look a bit pixelated, thats because I did it in paint quickly, I'll do one similar just smoother tommorow.

Also please report any errors, strange inconsistencies and general issues to.

Change the black color of your site. Change it to something blue. Otherwise its fine.

 

looks nice but change colour of your font it's not matching wid black

 

Yellow font is fine...just modify some of its design.. maybe the font size, style, or try a different shade of yellow..

 

First of all, love the domain

Secondly, yes the header is pixelated. Whip it up in PS and you will solve the problem as you said.

Next is just my 2c.
You might want to try to piddle with the background and see if you can find something that works a bit better wth you color scheme. That light grey background (imho) contrasts the black too much. I would try using something darker. Maybe work in a pattern or a gradient. See the attachments and you will get a feel for what I mean.

Lastly I would increase you padding around the games. When you list them on the frontpage they are stacked right on top of each other. I would increase the padding a little so there is some space between them, that way they are not all run together.

Again, that is just my 2c.

great game site... got some problem here.. ur text color for game code to add to myspace or whatsoever, the color is black. same as ur background.. i can't see the code.. change to red or something else...

Whitespace! The game listings are too close together, and make the site look busy. Increase the spacing there a bit.

I'm not fond of the black, but I'm a notoriously bad judge of colors.
