Hi Guys. After going through hundreds of different combinations I settled on

    ValueDogSupplies.com

At this point I could have a whole entire dog store up within one week, selling thousands of things at wholesale. I just need your opinions on the domain name and possibly some input from someone who is in the pet store niche. Im not sure if I want to go through with the site because it will be quite a big financial cost to get it going and there is no guarantee ill turn a profit, especially in the first year.

    ****EDIT *****

Due to some responses on this thread about people thinking valuedogsupplies.com is not being memorable and too long, I also registered K9Bargains.com Dog Supply site.

    ************

Please help me, Which do you like better K9Bargains.com or ValueDogSupplies.com?

ValueDogSupplies.com bit long, not easy to remember. Should of gone for wag shop or some thing easy to remember and sticks in visitors brain. If the domain is catchy they will pass it on

    That name is taken. LOL

Actually I tried a bunch of combinations. Seems like it is tough getting dog names that make sense or are SEO friendly. For some reason its like one of the hardest niches to find a great domain.

BTW There is a pet store named ValuePETSupplies.com

I think the domain name is a little too long your domain name should not be longer
    than 2 words.

Ok guys thanks for your input.

I did some search on a different keyword other than Dog so I could find a 2 word domain. I just registered K9bargains.com. Anything with the word dog in it is completely saturated so I thought I would try a related term.

What do you think of the new domain? Do you think it is better?

I like k9 bargains. Its much easier to remember and I think will give you more scope with logo designs, banner designs etc.

just checked a few random domains

    www.all4doggy.com

    is available

    which I like

Its not bad but i prefer the k9 one cause someone could remember the 4 as "for" or doggy instead as "doggie" "dogs" "dog" or or when searching for the site. I want to make sure I get something that won't cause someone to easily mistype into something else. If it had been all4dogs.com then i would think it was good, but thats taken and some might type that site instead by mistake.

I cancelled the valuedogsupplies.com domain cause I decided to stick with the domain k9bargains.com instead. Now if someone can think of a domain that beats k9bargains.com that isn't already registered that would be nice.

Thanks. Probably won't start the store till next summer because it will require a major $$ investment on my part.

The logo and text on the site I have up right now is just a temporary placeholder, until/if I decide to go through with the project.

Thanks, but must be a .com extension only. k9shop.com is registered. I want a .com only because I want to start a online store brand presence and I can't have people typing into the .com if I was on a .net. Ive always felt that if you get a online store it MUST be on a .com no exceptions.
