Review my free ebooks website

Just launched my free ebooks website. There haven't been so many content yet. I am adding the content on a regular basis.

It actually looks pretty good ! The layout seemed a little unsymmetrical but I think it works. You might use "ebooks" a little too much in the header...it's very repetitive (5 times), and you still have the Joomla favicon going, but overall I like it.

 

Thanks for your review. Yeah, that's true. I just realize to use to many 'ebooks' there. Will fix it soon. I just have no idea how to replace the Joomla favicon with mine. Do you know how to do that?

Yeah, kind in a rush on the way out, but just Google "Favicon Maker", or '...creator' or something to that effect and there are a few site where you can make one, and they give you step by step instructions.

It's real easy, takes about 5 minutes.

wow its nice, looks like its a professional old site, but its new, and it is professional, keep it up

 

Promising. Here are a couple of suggestions:
- Make the upper left banner clickable (i.e. clicking it takes you back to the homepage).
- On the front page, you have 4 nice ebook covers. These too should be clickable (taking you to the ebook details).
These are very simple fixes and should add to the usability of your site.

 

In your logo, it should say in big letters "FREE Ebooks" I know you have that in the copy up top, but if it's part of the logo, it'll be all that much easier to spot.

I just don't like "register first before download." Better find another site.

@ OliveTree: great point. Now you can download any free ebooks there without register yet. Just pick and download

 

Very nice ebook site, you can even download ebooks without register on the site...
