Review My Forum

Hi guys. Please review my forum: http://www.sleekmarket.net/ . I customized the theme a bit in CSS and tweaked around in the code to make it look good. I also installed some plugins.

This forum is fairly new but already has a lot of posts and a lot of active members.

I'm currently working on a custom theme but it will take some time.

If you like the forum please join it! We welcome new members!

I think in you forum the post count and the thread count is wrong. Other wise the icons are perfect and attractive.

 

I have private sections, that's why you think there isn't 2.8K posts, but there is.

If any of you could join I'd be happy!

Just a quick question, is there a reason behind a 'sale' graphic next to every forum category?

Yes. If you look at the bottom orange text means unread. This means that there has been a new post that you did not see.

After you see the posts, the sale graphic will turn green, meaning there is nothing new.

Looks pretty good Only thing I would change, however, is I think the Threads and Posts counts should be centered within that column. (Image attached)

 

If I centered it, it wouldn't be aligned properly and would look terrible. I've already tried.

Is that the default MyBB layout? But with those custom icons it looks decent. You should add some stuff to the header to make it seem like more things are going on - e.g. write some pages of content relevant to your site, then add links to it.

 

Sorry, i think that your forum design is like 10 years old. You should get some more stylish/proffesional theme. I like only icons for each category. Header looks empty.

No it is not default, I have customized a load of things in CSS, so it is not the default myBB theme. Also, that's called global announcements, I make then when I feel the need for them.

 

10 year old? My forum theme in fact looks professional to over 50 20+ year olds and many other members in my site. I think you made a mistake; it looks no way 10 year old.

 

i'm sugest to you using image from your server... you can remove image for imageshack.us because sometime that picture can not see visitor
