I have started new forum http://forums.phoenixwebsolutions.net , its made in phpbb. I need some suggest to improve performance of my forum. I need good traffic and quality members for my forum. Pls. give me some suggestion how to improve performance.
Your site looks good and definitely has a specific niche. Google keywords such as "forum posters" and "guest posts." Consider writing guest posts for blogs to softly promote your forum; think about hiring forum posters to generate more traffic and topics on your site. Also, write a "sexy" sig line promoting your forum and include it in your e-mails and all forum posts. Good luck! Peace, love, happiness, and prosperity, Stephanie
Change the theme of your forum, default is not very good. Also consider changing the header with someone related to your niche with good graphics. Hire some Forum posters for quality contents, you will see boost in your traffic and increase in members as well.
honestly speaking, your design is great but i suggest do not split your sub-categories too far because the tendency is the sub categories becomes too specialize that the category itself would be too obvious that it is not populated and you need more content.
ok nice forum site. but try to make it different. dont make it the same way as phpbb is providing. change the design little bit and try to post more and more topics daily, then only you will get good traffic.
I have to agree that an updated them would definately look better but overall I think you have done a great job.
increase number of threads and posts submit ur downloads on different ddl site change defualt theme and do some work on gfx stuff!
I think that you need to move off the default phpBB theme, it's definately over-used and gives out the look of a forum that hasn't been given much attention. Also get yourself a custom header. To make the forum look more active, reduce the number of categories/forums down to the essentials and grow from there. It's better to have 10 threads in 10 categories than 1 thread in 100. Also create a welcome message for unregistered users, and (if possible) get yourself a better forum software because people will take you more seriously if you've put the effort to pay for a software like vBulletin, XenForo, or IPB. For more tips on running a forum, I suggest you head to The Admin Zone, they have a selection of forum related articles and tutorials. I hope this helps
Hello, I have a couple of suggestions for u. First try to change your theme because your current theme looks to simple to me. Second, if you want to get some traffic and quality members, then try to promote your forum on Facebook ( create a Fan Page) And one more thing, don't forget about Twitter, also this social media website could help you.
