Unique theme? It's the default phpBB3 theme lol? I'ld say, keep it up, as it's a rare seen topic I'm not a drinker or smoker myself, so I won't register, but ok
The theme is pretty nice, but I feel that your layout is missing graphics. It would make it much more appealing if you added even little icon designs (try iconbase.com for some free ones!)
I personally think the font is a little small. I have pretty good eyes and it's a little hard to read in areas. You also have a picture missing right above your intro "Welcome to Gel Forums". Hope this helps!
