Please review my new forum:

Hi friends!

I want you to review my english forum site: http://the.phpbbsite.com/

Please suggest me, what i can change to get some users in there.
You are also very welcome, if you want to sign up and do some posts.
I need some people who want to post there for free but get special offers.
You also should give me some tips for a new logo.
You see on top of the forum, there is the forum name, now i want you
to say me, what i could add there. I need some ideas: Special signs.

Add a logo with a nice and cool slogan . Free English forum for everyone is not very attractive .
Also you need to do some serious work to get people to post in your forum because
there are various forums out there that are paying its members just to post in their
forum.

 

I really recommend you to use a different phpBB theme. It looks too "default" now. There are loads of forums out there having this theme, even a logo can't change that!!
Also, indeed, change your forum title. "http://the.phpbbsite.com" doesn't sounds very attractive Make it something like "The phpBB site" or "webmaster forum" etc etc.

To get your forum more active, your forum is very very expanded; it covers a lot of topics (domains, hosting, web dev ..). Though, I recommend you to stick with one topic only, as for general forums you won't find many people to post in. Especially for webmaster forums (as there are thousands of those forums out there). Make your forum stand out of the crowd!

What I did with several of my forums, was doing it together with one (or more) friends. By doing so, you can already create some activity at the forum. Communicate with your friends on the forum on some general topics already! Active forums are joined faster.

Further, I wish you a lot of luck with your forum I hope you'll be able to build a very expanded community

Your forum is very neat but it's a bit empty in the edges.
Try to add a little content in the edges of the pages
for example : New Thread ! How to get healthy life !
Something like that , try to use this little but important place as highlights to the visitiors.
Furthermore I would recommend you to have some changes in the top part of
the page.
Try to improve the quality of your logo and place it in the middle (or as close to the middle)

I found the fuzzy blue around the heard made it hard to read. Other than that it looks like a good site.

I would definitely change the color scheme as well as the header logo. From there, I would suggest spending the time getting links into the site. Visit the place where your members would visit, spend time giving useful information at those other place and then eventually work in a link to the site. It will make a big difference.

yeah, when your starting a forum,I recommend you post with more than one username to make it look a bit more active.So far it looklike the only person on the forum is you and your talking to yourself
