I just launched a new forum and add some adsense ads there. For those who have experience running forums, what do you think about my ad placement? Home page: http://www.talk-gaming.com Topic page: http://www.talk-gaming.com/showthread.php?t=8 Thanks
I'm pretty sure having the title 'Links' above your adsense units would be against the rules, you're meant to say 'Advertisements' or something like that.
I do not see any major problems here However, I think you can increase your clicks by blending the link unit's (on the right) background.
the ads look nice. have you tested moving it around? on the home page, try testing it above your welcome and below your welcome. One other thing to test - create another channel and track your ('sponsored') linkblock also, see how much it pays, and if it should come down entirely. I've had bad results with linkblocks in general.
Yeah, blend the text links on the right hand side and they would probably do better. I don't see any violations at all of the TOS.
I agree blend those text link on the right and also add some text or links beneath them to blend better.
This is a good suggestion. I will definitly try to come up with something to add beneath the link units.
Perhaps you can also put ads between the general and gaming forum sections on the index page, I think you could get a good CTR with that.
Great job with the blending. I like the overall look of the site. Keep up the good work. Just get the traffic coming in and youll be making lots.
