Review my flash website

Hey Guyz,

Please review my new Flash Website.

It's not complete though but this is how will be theme. Alot of work is left now like Navigation, Home page introduction etc.

Well personally. The site loading times are a little slow, plus I'm not sure why you not making use of the rest of the available page. Its good, but it looks more like a modified template. The overall design gets an 8 though.

 

it looks ok for me, but I'm not a fan to the content showing just in a little box in the middle.
Design wise, it looks definitely good.

 

I think the box in the middle is too little. I would like bigger layout, because my monitor is 1680x1050 rez and site looks so small..

 

Nice and clean. You'd need to listen for you MOUSE_UP event outside of your text area though. Currently, if you press the scroll button, and release the mouse outside of the text area, your scroll button is still bound to the mouse. This site looks like it is coded in AS3, and unfortunately they took out the onReleaseOutside method in AS3, what you need to do is add this inside your drag function:

e.target.parent.stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, stopDrag, false, 0, true);

That will listen for the stage MOUSE_UP event.

it takes quite sometimes for the loading..overall just fine..good luck!!

 

It was very slow in loading and in designwise not bad.The content is less now and need to work on that.

Thank you so much for all you review, first of all i would like to say that this layout is not modified and completely designed and animated by me although coded by my Scripter

Unfortunately i am going very busy with my work so i didn't find time to make this more better.

At my end there is INTRO part at home page is left and bottom Navigation Part, Form Sending Functionality, Portfolio Section, Content of all of the website. I will add more categories also in this.

Personally I do not see any reason why this site built in flash: everything that I see could be done with ajax and html. Also I always wonder how people do SEO for flash based websites?

You are right that this website could built with Ajax/Js/Html etc. But this website is not complete yet. I have some other plannings too to add in this website. As i have wrote at top.

Btw i have book the domain name brimtechnologies.com, so my this flash based website will live at this domain and at brim.in i will use the Static HTML website so we can do the SEO also of it.

Nice and cool design..
It is good for me..

But If I can design it, I prefer to use black rather than blue.
Just like the first page before I hit Enter..

I also don't like the box texture on the page. I prefer to remove the texture, and leave it blank..

Hey the website loading time is longer then expected..
but surely interface of the website is quite good. Do some coding work for enhancing loading time of your web.

 

Definitely looks pretty cool, I like the way the little world looks, that's pretty neat. Maybe one day I'll try and build a flash site like this.

 

Everything looks and feels good. However, I'm not a big fan of background music in websites.

 

nice one, although i would place menu block higher because i spent some time looking for it..

No, it's because you need to get a better connection speed, it loads instantly here
