Yesterday...i designed a homepage for a freelancing website. Please reveiw the Layout and Design. Any comments will help! Link
Hi, looks good...You misspelled the word "excellence" on the top right. Also, the links on bubble give an "internet Server Error 500"...
The design is not bad but I think you should reduce the size of the font in the body of the page because it's a little too large.
I don't like that big white area on the rightside, Not very appealing to the eye. (Perhaps you need to get it coded properly.. I noticed that your text also isn't 'actual text'.. its just a plain image..) Font for everything is too big. And it lacks a link to the full portfolio, also a link to view each portfolio project in detailed view/full view... to be honest, it all looks like a flyer to me, rather than a website. Im not being rude or anything dude, Im just guiding you.. Being a webdesigner myself, I know whats pleasing to the eye and whats not. Some suggestions you may want to consider to improve it: - Make all the white texts smaller.. And make it proper text (get everything coded properly into xhtml/css/html) - seperate the content with the header area, perhaps with a nice menu between them - Blend the white space with your design.. Perhaps fill it with gray. the same gray you've used for the background color. - Make the footer text very small, around 10-11 px looks best for a footer.. Thats all I can think of right now. Good luck. Thanks.
Well done.. Simple but nice. You might do some hard stuff to impress your clients dude..But your design is good. Keep improving..Good luck!
Abdullah there are alot of mistakes like layout header should be attractive, use some color combination in your layout, heading and paragraph font size is too large also use some graphical images in your design.
Can't tell nothing bad about the site. The only thing I don't really like there, is that white line on the right, kinda scares me off.
I agree with all of the previous comments before me... - text size is the biggest thing. I was going to say that its all done in images, but I think you just placed this up as a screen shot for the design review? The design is pretty basic, which I assume is what you were going for. The header image is quite grainy, not sure if that is the look you want. But at 67kb it should look pretty clean. If the site is going to be coded with minimal images, then you do have space to increase the size of the header image and create a clean crisp feel. I guess it all depends on what you were aiming for?
I will surely say the same thing and will add some more too Font is still large as you said you made it smaller bt its still large for me That white space on right don't look good to the eyes You must show your portfolios, home and contact at the top You must add an email to contact you as most of the people don't like to call specially when it comes to international clients I can't open any of your pages at the end .. Why is that so?
I agree with some of the comments above also. I would definately centralise the page, and rather than using an image, I would use the colour scheme as a nice background, and have actual text on the page myself. And the font, I agree, could do with being smaller.
I like the web site font needs to be smaller and there are internal errors in your links. Maybe a little more of a professional look. But overall i liked it.
