For the header, I would replace it with a static header.. with more updated graphics. Try using the same glossy effect for the upper part of the layout.

Google ads are on the bottom left - good placement, they integrate nicely and almost had me thinking it was an actual part of the site.

    Main Things I would change:
Top Left animation is distracting - is it possible to have it animate once then stop, rather than looping?
Main Block background - revert to a single solid colour. It's distracting to have TWO repeating logo backgrounds, let alone the fact that the logo background in the main block isn't neatly lined up.
Proofread the site, or get help with this. Reading through several blocks of text, I see far too many grammatical errors - which, for an educational website (even math), tells me to look elsewhere.

The overall layout looks a little stitched together from odd parts that may have looked nice on their own, but together are not too cohesive.

Given the content and layout you're attempting to achieve, I would strongly recommend using some sort of free application like Joomla or Mambo - you'll get where you want much faster.

PM me if you would like a more detailed analysis, or advice.

I agree, too much animation. Top left animation/flash is distracting. I would have it run a few loops and quit.

Your page's loading time is so long. If i were you, i don't use animated headers or any background image. Look google or yahoo, animations r not important for a web site...

I wouldn't agree that because of the fact that the web site takes too much time to load, certain parts should be deleted. I'm using ADSL internet and it took me only a second or two to dowload the site. Animations are pretty important for a web site. Having a static web site is not the easiest way to make it be more popular than other sites on the same subject.

    Hi all,
BIG thank you to all of you willing to give your feedback to that website, especially to ThatForumPlace - I valued your advice.

Another problem using flash animation is that, some people telling me that they can't even see the animation and it turned to white screen, don't really know what could make that problem happen?

    Your header animation looks superb.

For the adsense ads, I like to suggest that you put it just below the Navigation Menu bar as that will be the hot spot.

Next will be the background for the content. With your current combination, I kind of finding a little difficulties to read some texts (might be due to old age). If you can put it a little lighter color then it will be more pleasing to the eyes.

Lastly, for the Affiliate and Online Shop button, if you can make it slighter thinner and with the same length as the Navigation Menu bar then it would look perfect.

    Hope this helps!

I usually dislike words in the background image however it works on your site. :) And I love the navigation links the way they change color. The color choices were excellent. Nice job.

Blimey, you said this is your first web design? You did great for a beginner :) I can view your animated header. But your site really takes time to load. Have to unload it by using css rollover nav than a javascript rollover.
