What do you think of my design? The idea is to be simple yet elegant, and to the point. The top section text is not finalised, though I don't think its bad.
Great design, I like the transparancy of the box containing the top text. Nice smooth buttons and great job on the footer. All the colours seem to go really well.
For "learn" that is going to be a blog. Not just for the sake of having one though, it'll have articles, tutorials, tips+tricks which should not only get backlinks and visitors, but show potential customers we actually know what we are doing I'm still not sold on "learn" though. "Blog" is too boring sounding, no-one will click on it. "Learn" sounds mysterious which is far more tempting (people will visit this wanting websites, ads etc... other design companies dont' have anything about learning) What do you guys think?
Good color and good design, I think the only detail is the font used in the menu could be different, not to be equal to the area of content.
Coded version looks even better: http://www.matthewrochow.com/cmII/ Tested in FF3+IE6 so far, could be a few little bugs still until I thoroughly test it.
Excellent design, I love the simple vector art and the box transparency blends are perfect. Very attractive yet simple design. Besides your portfolio this alone should add to your credibility as a web designer, because the website speaks for itself.
I like your design, it's simplicity I like most. Color scheme are also good. Coded version is well coded (xHTML strict). The only think I don't like is navigation menu. I think it should be some rectangle menu buttons, or just bold a little bit, like the header title on the left. Another think I don't like is the way class "current" looks. I think it will better to change it to the color of HTML id "splash" (#CBDCEB). Regards, Ivan
