the gray back ground and white text is hard to read
and it is very hard to see the top ad because it blends into header

Update, I fixed a background image problem, any of you guys seeing some choppy pixels around it?

 

I would say make the font SLIGHTLY lighter. Also, the icon makes me think the site is still loading. I like the design of the site besides the dark font though.

The font is pretty light, are you sure it's not your monitor?

 

Your right. I set my monitor to a bit higher brightness and it is good. Hell, it looks different with the same settings from before. (I don't know why.)

Anyway, good site. Just get the content up now and get some visitors.

I only have two issues. I think that the text color in the posts could be brighter so it stands out more. In the header some of the white text gets lost in the lighter areas of the image. Otherwise it works well.

River I think it's your monitor, someone else has also had this problem
