You have a pretty standard wordpress theme. Nothing really catchy.
The theme is nice but it is also used in many wordpress blogs.

I love the photos, but they take second place to all the ads. What's with everyone putting ads as the first thing someone sees when they get to the page? You're not alone in this - it seems like 9/10 sites I've seen on this board do the same thing.

If you would move the ads below at least the first photo, you would bring startling attention to that photo - which means the person viewing it would be enticed to click for more photos, which means they would spend some serious time on your site.

Ads are designed to take traffic away from your site - not bring it to you. If that is your goal, then go for it. However, if you want people to stay and spend time with you, then it would be wise to move the ads below the fold and keep only YOUR content above the fold. Ads below the fold are way less irritating than above the fold. Below the fold, they also don't interrupt the reader as much and are not as distracting. Keep the attention focused on You as much as you can.

Thank u very much to comment so much and spent certain time on my site.
Ad placing seemed to be a problem to a webmaster, once ad placed at a non-obvious place, that no one will click on it lead to no basic profit for this site for the basic ongoing costs. I agree with your opinion, Ad at the bottom of the title interrupt your viewing of smashing contents, but how could it to be good to place it somewhere else to get both basic profit and smooth reading effect... sigh.....

Here are some suggestions that might work to get the focus on your stuff primarily.

    1. Move the orange search bar from above the header and put it over on the right side above or below the 4 "boxed" ads.

    2. Move the Google Banner ad below the first photo/article.

Just those two things would enhance the site quite a bit. The eye moves from the left upper corner (address bar) directly down, so anything in that left top portion of the page will be seen before any of the rest of the page. Right now, that is the Google banner ad.

You could easily put ads between each of the photo/articles. That would allow the reader to fully appreciate the first photo, then move on down the line. It would give them an "eyeball" break having a "fairly small" banner ad between photos. This would make the photos more distinct and give the reader a chance to fully digest one before moving on to the next one. I don't think you would lose income by doing this because the longer people stay on your site, the more apt the are 1) to buy from you and 2) to come back time and again = more income.

Good luck with it - that leaf photo is stunning! If you can keep something "stunning" as the top photo, that could also increase your return rate.
