    Please review my chemistry help site. It will be launched over the summer and we are optimizing now. I have made a lot of changes over the last few weeks. Just wanted to see what everyone thought.

    Clean and classic. The only thing I don't like is color of top buttons when mouse pointer is over them. It stands out. And perhaps it is too classical. I would prefer something more chemistry-specific in your site design :)

    Add some more chemistry devices in your design. Perhaps DNA-chains would be nice idea... And I don't like a pencil on your site. When I look at your site first thing that I see is a pencil not formulas. And pencil is a not specific chemistry appliance. Everything is as usual IMHO :)

    I like the look!

    You have just a few validation errors. A few missing </divs> and you need to
    change the attributes of the script tag for XHTML. It requires a type
    attribute, and not language. Language attrib. is depreciated in XHTML 1.0 :D

    SO:
    <script language="Javascript">

    Should be:
    <script type="text/javascript">

    Here is my helping hand...

    Your image on the front page is not optimized for the web.

    Your original image was: 51.96 KB (which is not friendly to people on a slow connection).

    Your new optimized image is: 16.7 KB (notice the compression difference).

    New image: [IMG]

    I used a High JPEG compression, so you should not notice a difference in the quality of the image, only the load time.

    I would also say that there is no need to make text in picture. Espessialy if you use JPG compression. You can always divide your picture into picture and text and this will not only make you site load faster but it will make your site more professionally looking.

    And one small addition. Vertical alignment of elements is needed. Now it is not aligned - it is not evenly indented.

    The atom in the logo reminds about physics instead of chemistry.

    A very nice and simple site. I am taking AP Chemistry next year, so I am going to bookmark your site for a reference.
    Are you still working on the dictionary? Because it doesn't look complete.
