hi, I just set up my CB landing page. So, i appreciate some honest review of my Landing Page http://golfinglessons.co.cc/ Thanks
My first impression. Looks good. Nice and simple and a good call to action. You may want to addd some articles and video to help rankings better. The only negative I see is that it is a bit wordy. Nobody will read an entire webpage so maybe more simple bullet points and a few more clickable pictures and maybe even a video. I think this vendor has a video on his page so you can go off of that.
In my opinion the site looks really good. Clean and simple. But maybe as rjd1265 said. There should maybe be some more content on the site, like videos etc. What is your plan for promoting this site?
hi, thanks for your comments.. i'll be using PPC, articles submission.. and thinking of video marketing as rjd1265 said.... do you have any other suggestion?.....
If you use your site for PPC now, you will get hammered on QS since you do not have a lot of content. You have all the other things such as disclaimer, Privacy Policy and so on but you will need more content. This looks like a altered version of a squeeze page which Google hates. That is why all squeeze pages have video on them now as Google likes that. I would make the bullets a little less wordy and add a video from YouTube or create or own with a watemark. Put on your site and upload to YT as well. This should help your QS increase as you have added value to your site. One thing I do is article of the week on my home page. This adds content, value to the user and my site is always being updated which helps the rankings.
Is a landing page like this good for promoting a affiliate product? I always thought it was best to do a blog and then add content regularly. So you constantly get updated in SE. I now thar google loves fresh content! I will like to know. Because if its a good way to promoto then i will also create a site like this for promoting another product in another niche!
my basic plan to create the landing page is to promote it using PPC... and the rest (blog, articles, video, email marketing, etc) are done by the vendor itself (you can see the vendor website by clicking the link) i know SEO is profitable for long run, but it will take a long journey... @LeetMan im not sure what is the success rate of the landing page compared to blog.. maybe some senior IM can share some stories....
Looks good! Maybe some of the bonus ebooks need some redesign, I do not like them that much, way to simple. Also, you can put image for the money back guarantee, as well as something better for the price of $47.
I know of wordpress but never used it before. i see that is how you did your site. Did you just do the free download on their home page. I like how clean and simple it comes out. I want to do my tattoo site with Wordpress. The last time i tried i had a hard time but then again, I never had to download anything so maybe i was doing it wrong??
I think it needs a little bit of color to it. The white/black/red text layout wasn't really pulling me in. How is it converting for you? If it's not doing well, I would try adding some more images, maybe creating an image drawing the viewers to the click at the bottom.
@ijd1265 free download on their site is much worse...i got this from a free template. i use wordpress because im sucks with coding... you should try one..its great @swiftly i like the idea of image to click at the bottom...will get it shortly @Loco.M i try to use some of their logos and pictures but it looks terrible.. i got the picture (guy with the golf stick) from google image
One suggestion to you is <a ref=" the picture to your hoplink. Another thing is that the content looks smashed together. Try to make the bullet text unbolded.
How is the site converting for you? And you plan is only to do PPC marketing? No article marketing like posting small articles on big directories?
@Tamcake the bullet text unbold, its better what do you mean by 'a ref=' the picture? @LeetMan Its still new and im opening it for a review...im gonna start it tomorrow.. i will run 2 campaign - ppc - article submission ( already had a writer do it for me)
I meant link the picture to your hoplink. Use the code <a href="yourhoplink.com"><image code></a>. Looks like you've already done that though.
I use my blog to point to my landing pages by writing a review of the ClickBank product. This way Google loves my "fresh content" blog and the landing pages offer a great way to capture my visitors email address.
As a graphic/web designer I always prefer a more visually pleasing landing page with the inclusion of video. I ran a poll last month on what landing page design people prefer and most didn't want to read lots of text and then read lots more on the affiliate products Sales Page. So my advice is to add a bit more colour and a video, if you can find one and only use the main bullet points and headline. I am always on the look-out for my next ClickBank Campaign to design, so is "golfing lessons" a good niche?
