Let me do it for you:
1- Spelling mistake in your heading or any ither web it should be other.
2- I feel if you want to do the trading on your forum you should not go for free forum software like php but you should opt for vb as people will take you more seriously.
3- No. of categories should me more(more variety)
4- Php logo is there so make one of your own and put it there.
5- have a nice and good looking template for your forum.

All the best for your forum.

There is a saying that say invest money to make money.
To pull this off your going to have to invest money, these days is not like the old days when you can start something from 0. Times changed... :)

Yeahh... go for a paid one.... with unique domain... it will not cost more & will defenitely pay up rewards... If u want to just experiment then this is the best idea & if u r serious then u will be going to earn money for the free service provider... simple :)

I think its better for a new forum to start with less categories so it wont look empty.

Just curious...how do you kick start your forum if your don't intend to pay anything?

post a couple of advetisments on a few forums, submit it to search engines(thought i doubt it will get far, even rubbish auto surf programmes can still bring in a few members, and once you got a few members,it should slowly start to grow

You need a lot of promotion because forums like that can be found by the dozen.

In addition to several grammar and spelling errors in the site's title, it looks completely generic, and has nothing positive or unique to set itself apart from the plethora of other sites that offer the same thing (and with no budget to advertise, I doubt it will matter). Hate to sound negative, but I figured you'd want an honest appraisal.

yeah if you look though, most of the forums on this subject look the same-its just a case of who invests more in advertising,in my case nothing!I could thing of a lot more catergories to add in,but i don't really wanna be adding more unti i start getting a few posts, and currently having one other member that could be a while...

Anyway still I believe you should invest, "DearDirectory" has a point, there are hundreds of forums that have the same idea as you. If you want people to sign to your forum. You are going to have to offer something special.
