Thanks for the review. Anyone who still would like to review my blog? Any criticisms on how to improve it is greatly appreciated.

 

I have been taught that you should always have a way for people who visit your site to leave their contact information. You should have an opt in box at the top right side of your site.

Also, it has been found that people respond better to information on the right hand panel of the page as opposed to the left side.

maybe you could tweak you header in a way that will make the written stuff there more visible.

 

the top image throws the header off and makes it feel lopsided. The links on the right in the original writing box can not be read, this box is also right justified as everything else is centered. your link from "original writing" in that same box:
1. is very miss leading
2. takes people away from your site

any link that leaves your site should open in a new window or tab.
I also agree that you need better images in your post.
