Hi, I need some advices from expert SEO's. I've been told that my blog www.sandrophoto.com isn't very SEO friendly, mainly due to the structure of the theme. I personally like the style allot, but if it holds me back I can redesign also. I'm very curious as how u would assess SEO strength of my blog. I'm not an expert, just an amateur in this business... all I know is from this forum, and from you guyz... so once again :) Please help...

Personally i think your on page seo is fine. You have all the standard things in place like SEF URL's, H1 tags, good archiving for google indexing, no obvious spamming etc.

I'm not sure that your theme (unless based on flash or javascript) would have any detrimental effect on SEO, especially as the biggest part of SEO is getting good quality inbound links.

Nothing much wrong with your on-site SEO that I can really see. About the only comment I'd make is that you might make better use of the title tag on the home page and swap sandraphoto.com for one or two more of your keywords, e.g. change the title to something like: digital photography | photo stories

    well critique I received:

apart from bad English, I think he has a point... google reads page from left tor right? and my DIV structure is first goes the sidebar then the content, could this be a problem?

No, if you think about most websites, especially big ecommerce websites like amazon, ebay etc, they are usually 2 or 3 column based with a header. Therefore the normal structure going top to bottom, left to right, is header, sidebar (left), main content, sidebar (right...if there), footer. Therefore it is actually the most common practice for a crawler to read the sidebar before the content. The crawler will take factors like page title, H1, H2, H3, and content/keyword densities to establish the what the page is about, not the div order.
