So, I have my new blog, it's my first official blog, all my others have been test dummies, I really want to know what I could do it improve it and do better, also, if you wouldn't mind installing (if you haven't) the SEO Quake plugin for FireFox or chrome, it gives info such as my alexa rank, number of pages indexed, number of links and backlinks and what they are. Go to Seoquake.com to get it, it's AMAZING. anyways, enough endorsing, i was just wondering about what I need to do better, and a price check, I'm not allowed live links yet, but here's the site www.thepotatosoup.com
Well, It's a niche site, based on specific potato types, so, I'm trying to get a ton of specific potatoes types as keywords, so I'm ranked high on a ton of keywords.
Don't get caught up in Alexa rank and number of pages indexed. None of that means squat if you have no readers and you won't get any ranking without readers. Concentrate on your content. It doesn't matter if you have 500 pages, stuffed with keywords indexed if the content is crappy. No one will read it, share it, suggest it or ever link to it and the only back links you'll get are ones that you manipulate yourself by posting in article dumps and spamming other people's blogs with bogus comments. Concentrate on design, content, and growing your readership. When you have readers, you could care less what your Alexa rank is.
