I'd put a photo of yourself in there, links to your high school, information about what you want to study and why. Just wanting to get into IT is a bit vague. Who or what has inspired you down that path over some of the other options like Accountancy, Engineering etc Right now the site has no more legitimacy than a Nigerian scam. I'm not saying your site is one, but you need to put more of yourself into it.
Thanks, for the tips.I Will take all this into consideration. I have just started so i plan to add more content.
Congratulations about your further studies techlady! I dont know what is your blog is all about. Is it about your personal life? Better you adjust all the links, I think.
Send out some letters to newspapers and TV in your area pitching your story to them. They might do a story on you (it's human events, TV and newspaper people love this stuff) and voila -- free traffic.
Tell as many people as you can about your site to raise your funds. Another student was hoping to raise a couple of thousand towards his university. Started on a whim and a lark, the young university student sold one million pixels at a dollar a pixel and made $1 million. milliondollarhomepage.com <
Thanks guys....at times i feel a bit discouraged but nothing beats a try but a failure. The blog is about raising funds for my tuition. I hope to get the blog alot of attention so in return for a donation i can get traffic to the donors links. If it is half as succesful as milliondollarhomepage I use the opportunity to help out other students like myself. Alfie I look forward to working with you .
