Looks good, i like it, the small writing is easy to read and has good use of colour.

i know what you mean by clear small writing, often i cant read what people avatars say when they have small writing

 

really nice avatar, a mini ad banner.

 

The avatar looks great, I got a few ideas to create my own avatar after seeing yours.

 

Not sure of the point of the RSS icon, it looks somewhat out of place. Your a blog so it's really not a feature just something standard. Except from that, yeah I think it works well.
