Hello everybody I just recently finished designing my article site, using the articlefriendly script. Can you please take a look at it. http://www.zingarticles.com Any suggestions are welcome, design, layout, colors, adsense placements. Thanks
It loaded fine for me. I like the look of it, and I hope you do well with it. I think you could drop the word "Nav" on the menu area so it just says "Menu", but that's not a big deal. Looks good to me from a design standpoint.
site looks very clean and professional.. and I'm also having problems with page loading.. very slow loading.
Thank you for the comments. I designed the site myself, always nice to hear good comments about that I'll look into the load times.
On my screen the fonts fade, melt, and merge something awful. I don't see any other comments mentioning this, but it is a singular experience for me. It is most obvious in the RECENT ARTICLES area. You might drop by the library and use its computer -- or ask a friend or so what they are experiencing. The articles I scanned are terrific. That is your most important factor for success. Because of it I will be linking to you from http://www.talewins.com/poster.htm -- as well as using the articles on my site as needed. Good work, a terrific future is in store.
talewins, thank you for the comments, I'm not sure I understand what you mean regarding the fonts merging etc, are you able to send me a screenshot of it maybe? email it to . I'm happy that you like that site and the articles, appriciate the link. Edit: Made a slight change in the font colors, the body text where #333333 (almost black) changed it to full black.
The color tweaking you did seems to have helped immensely. Everything looks so much better this morning, and it was only the center column that fell so badly. That center column could still use some improvement, but it now looks like a change in fonts will do the trick for you. A picture is attached, I hope.
Glad to hear that it helped. I get a database error when I click the picture you attached. But I'll play around some more with it. Thanks
