    You can have 3 ads so A link unit right above popular and latest news would be fine. Also change the colors of the ad on the right. Mainly get rid of the blue background and that should be fine. Last make the leaderboard on the left the wide.

    I'm afraid I don't have enough experience with Adsense to comment on that part but the overall design if your site is very nice.

    i suggest you could add ads under popular and latest news category like news.
